Omega-3 fatty acids as found in fish oil have been found recently in studies to assist people with weight loss by helping them to satisfy hunger cravings and maintain healthy blood pressure. Now an Australian study just published in the British Journal of Nutrition has revealed a possible link between intake of omega-3s and how much you weigh. itself.

That among 124 adult subjects, those with higher plasma levels of omega-3 fatty acids had a “healthier BMI, waist circumference and hip circumference.”

That obese people had much lower levels of omega-3 fatty acids than other individuals of a more healthier weight.

The findings have led to theories that omega-3 fatty acids may have an effect on the body that leads to increased natural fat burning.*

Apart from weight loss, satiety and blood pressure benefits, the majority of studies on fish oil have been on its effects on heart health.

Start an exercise plan right now!

Add 20 minutes everyday to your daily work out. If you don’t currently work out, that just means start at 20 minutes. It’s not much and does not have to be done strenuously or at the gym. Exercise can be done anywhere. The world is your play ground. What do you like to do? Do it! Here are some simple tips to help you get started:
1. Check your fitness level- How far can you comfortably walk, run, swim, what ever?
2. Make an exercise plan-Commit to doing something you like for an additional 20 minutes almost everyday.
3. Find an exercise buddy- This is really important. This can be simple. Go out at the same time everyday to exercise. You will see some of the same people everyday. Say hello, they are your buddy! If you can’t find one, make one by joining an exercise group. This can be a sport or class.
4. Choose types of exercise to do- You have to like what you are doing. Music can make almost anything fun.

Remember that Exercise is only part of the equation.  Good nutrition, calorie control, quality supplementation and regular Body Cleansing are keys to weight loss that can not be left out if you want lasting, safe and effective results.

Do you constantly pick at the meals you are preparing for yourself and your family? Do you snack on “just a couple” before you give your kids or your company a treat. Than you are a “picky eater”. You are picking at meals before they get to the table or to your family. You are probably counting calories or a t least “watching what you eat”, but are you watching out for this hidden pit fall. We have a rule in our house that I really struggle with. We only eat at the table. We don’t eat in the car or sitting in front of the TV. I am the biggest rule breaker.
