I’ve mentioned thing have been stressful lately and that it seems to be effecting my health and weight.  A friend shared an report she had heard on Good Morning America that stated that “stressed monkeys ate more fat and sugar than those who weren’t under stress.”  This article, explained a lot.  Like why after  a long day of hanging out with twin preschoolers, with all their demands, messes and crazy requests, I consume most of my calories after dark.

You can check it out at http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=4900179&page=1

But, don’t use it as an excuse.  Just because, “researchers believe the monkeys that are harassed all day long by high-ranking monkeys” eat junk food just to feel good, doesn’t mean you will.  If the guilt doesn’t get you, letting yourself down will.  Resist biology and use a little psychology.  Find healthier ways to get the feel good feeling.  Call a good friend, go for walk or do your nails.  Figure out before the lights go down what makes you feel good and keep it close by.

The theory of not eating after 6 is a load of BS and its being proven right now! Funny, once Oprah said that everyone thought it was true!

    Not true!
